Selection of Million Level Projection Curtain Configuration
Heroes love swords "," a good horse with a good saddle ". If the projector is a hero, a good curtain is a magic weapon, the importance of the curtain is self-evident. Home HD is the trend, choose HD projector is a good solution. We have chosen the projector we like. If there is another suitable curtain, the real high-definition experience will be presented immediately. Before choosing what kind of curtain, we need to adapt to local conditions and analyze our actual situation briefly. Our venue environment, budget amount, number of spectators, visual requirements, projector lens and other factors.
Due to the different projection methods, it can be divided into transmissive and reflective. Reflective, that is, we and the projector on the same side of the screen, is our most common positive projection. The light emitted by the projector is projected onto the screen, forming an image on the screen, and then the light is reflected to the human eye.
Transmission type, that is, we and the projector on both sides of the curtain, that is, we often say that the rear projection type. The light emitted by the projector is projected onto the screen for imaging, and the audience watches the projected picture on the other side of the screen.
There are two types of rear projection, direct rear projection and refractive rear projection. Refractive rear projection, that is, from one side of the screen through the reflection system through the rear projection screen imaging, light through the screen into the audience's eyes. Refractive rear projection and direct projection compared, more than a refraction process, the corresponding more a special mirror; refraction compared to direct, in the actual use of more space-saving. The working principle of refractive rear projection is basically the same as that of rear projection TV in those years.
The advantages of rear projection are very prominent, and these advantages are precisely the problems that are difficult to solve by front projection:
1, the light source utilization rate is high. Using the rear projection projection method, the projector is in a relatively closed dark room, and the projected light is hardly disturbed by the external ambient light, and the lower brightness can also ensure normal use. Even outdoors, the rear projection can be displayed normally, and its output effect is less affected by sunlight.
2, support the presenter standing in the middle of the screen. In the case of a positive cast, the speaker cannot stand directly in front of the screen. The speaker standing between the projector and the curtain will not only block the light and affect the normal display, the speaker's shadow will appear on the screen, and the strong direct light will hurt the speaker's eyes. The rear projection is hardly affected by external light.
However, the rear projection method has certain difficulties in practical application, or called disadvantages:
1. There are certain requirements for the site, and the projection format is restricted. The projector is behind the curtain and requires a certain projection distance. The larger the rear projection area, the larger the rear space required for installation, and the room utilization rate will be reduced accordingly. If our room area is limited, or do not want to damage the wall, etc., we must first give up the rear projection.
2. The actual operation of rear projection is more troublesome. The projector is behind the curtain and needs to be protected from light. Our ordinary users have no experience and are not easy to operate, and maintenance is complicated.
3, the price of transmission curtain is not cheap. At present, high-end products mainly rely on imports and are concentrated in Denmark and the United States; due to technical barriers, only low-end products are produced in China at this stage.
4, some need optional short focus lens. Due to the ultra-close projection distance, most projectors need to purchase additional accessories such as short focus lenses, which is an additional expense. The rear projection mostly adopts the refraction rear projection method, which saves the rear projection space relatively.
Most home users are limited by the room area, coupled with the limited budget, rarely use rear projection; but players who are keen to play simulated fitness games can still consider it. For example, Nintendo WII's tennis game can only be played on both sides and in a dark environment, and the game experience will be greatly reduced.
There are also many domestic rear projection products, but the grade and quality are relatively low. High-end products, almost all use Fresnel optical technology. On the market, Fresnel optical rear projection screen includes GWA giant wide-angle screen, NWA new wide-angle screen and Holo?Screen, SIGMA Sigma Screen, American STEWART Company's Rear-projection Diffuse Reflection Hard Screen, BlackHawk?Xtreme?NEW, MicroWave rear projection optical screen, PowerView rear projection optical screen, OptaWave rear projection optical screen, WA1806 rear projection optical screen of Denmark SVS Company, VISION2000 anti-skid optical screen, FL optical screen of Chengdu FSCREEN Fist Company.
Among them, the Danish DNP company is the world's most famous Fresnel optical screen manufacturer, its high-end products can reach nearly 180 degrees of horizontal viewing angle, suitable for a variety of applications. DNP wide-angle series screen has the highest market share in the world.
Only the curved surface in the Fresnel lens is the functional part of the lens. If the other parts are removed and the effective lens part is flattened (as shown on the right), a Fresnel lens is obtained. The lens is cut by diamond by CAD/CAM machining center. On a screen, there are as many as 10,000 different lens profiles. The rear projection screen mold investment is huge. DNP company is the only rear projection screen manufacturer with its own mold factory. Therefore, each series of DNP products have different focal lengths; the size of each section = the dot distance (resolution) of the screen.
This is the essence of high-end rear projection screens and the main reason for their high price. For rear projection users, it is recommended to use an optical Fresnel rear projection screen. Danish DNP products are the best choice. If there are conditions, you can choose the rear projection method, and if there are no conditions, you can choose the front projection.
The projector installation method can be divided into four types: table type front projection, ceiling front projection, table type rear projection, ceiling rear projection.
Projector installation method
Positive projection is our most common projector installation method, in which temporary use is placed on the desktop, while long-term use is the ceiling positive projection. In general, we set up a home theater, more use of the projector is cast ceiling installation, can choose the most widely cast curtain, installation is relatively simple. For general users, it is also a rational choice to choose the positive cast mode and the high-quality and low-cost positive cast curtain products.

A white screen for showing films. During the silent film period, the screen was coated with luster white pigment, the screen surface was flat, fixed with a permanent screen stand, and erected on the projection table. After the birth of the sound film, due to the need for sound transmission, the use of rubber and plastic materials made of perforated screen. Make the device's behind-the-scenes speakers emit sound through the screen. The size of the screen varies according to the aspect ratio of the film. The early screen aspect ratio was 4:3 (I. e. 1.33:1). With the advent of widescreen movies, the screen aspect ratio increased to 8:3 (I. e., 2.66:1). With the continuous improvement of the wide-screen film technology, the width-to-height ratio of the film is also constantly changing. In order to adapt to this change, cinemas set up wider screens accordingly, and set up black cloth with movable ends according to the needs of showing films of different specifications, so as to cover the screen into a desirable width-to-height ratio specification.
